While working on the Lures for Design After Dark, my studio became a colossal mess. I had very little time to create such a large body of work, and my typical clean-as-I-go approach fell by the wayside.
My studio overflowed with stacks of fabrics oozing off of tables, glass eyes, bent pipe cleaners, ceramic beads that my mom made in the seventies for her macrame projects, chopped up mops and rugs, scattered colored pencils and half eaten apples. My studio was a total mess and I loved every minute. I'm excited about the end result.
I tend to be slightly over ambitious with the scope of my projects, but I never regret it. There is always enough time.
